ABOUT THE STEPHENS AND GEORGE CENTENARY CHARITABLE TRUST
Started in 2012, Stephens And George Centenary Charitable Trust puts young people at the heart of what we do and we will support them in their own ideas and passions in order to leave their own legacies within the community.
This is what we at the trust strive for on a daily basis.
Lisa is the acting leader at MTCBC and is an amazing trustee for the charity.
Huw is a fantastic public speaker all across the borough and loves helping us out!
Vannesa is a great trustee, she is the current chair and does a fantastic job! Thank you.
Peter is a brilliant trustee and helps us throughout the year with S&G thank you for all the work you do!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not stopped supporting the local community and young people.
Recently, we have been busy working on new and exciting projects for the community, alongside the continued refurbishment and improvement of Dowlais Community Centre which is a hub in the local community.
We are committed to creating a sustainable hub for future generations to come.
What We Believe In
We try and get as many people from our community to be part of our projects as possible.
At the trust we work with lots of different partner organisations such as the MTBWYF and MTCBC.
WE NEED YOU!
Without the brilliant help from all of the volunteers and staff here at S&G we wouldn't be able to do half of the work that we can. So THANK YOU!
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
Every individual has the ability to motivate others and inspire true change. By becoming a volunteer, you become a crucial part of our community by making sure that our mission is heard and has a far-reaching, lasting impact.
Our work is never done, and we can use all the help we can get. We are trying to spread the word about all that Stephens and George Charitable Trust is doing, and help us gain the support we need.
The Stephens And George Charitable Trust runs lots of different events including the Spread the Word Festival the biggest book and literacy festival for young people celebrating World Book Day in the UK.
